Kassiyet was invited by the Indian Consulate General in New York to perform a Bharatanatyam piece in celebration of India's Republic Day. As a professional dancer of Kazakh origin, she had the honor of representing India on such a significant occasion, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India in the heart of the United States.
