Kassiyet Arts is a New York–based Bharatanatyam performing company and training institution founded by Kassiyet.
Built around rigorous artistic practice and long-term artist development, Kassiyet Arts brings together performance, professional training, creative work and opportunities for dancers to grow within a larger artistic ecosystem.
THE VISION
Kassiyet Arts was created from a belief that classical dance training should lead to more than weekly classes.
The organization is being developed as a space where dancers can train seriously, perform, develop repertoire, work with artists, participate in residencies and build sustainable artistic lives.
At its core is a commitment to artistic excellence, professional structure and longevity.
THE ACADEMY
The Academy serves as the educational arm of Kassiyet Arts, offering structured Bharatanatyam training for committed students.
Ongoing training is complemented by intensives, masterclasses and in-person residencies in New York, creating opportunities for students to deepen technique, repertory and performance practice.
FOUNDED BY KASSIYET
Kassiyet founded the organization after more than two decades of international training, performance and teaching, with the intention of building the kind of artistic infrastructure she believed dancers needed to grow beyond the classroom.
