Kassiyet’s teaching practice draws from more than 25 years of Bharatanatyam training and performance across multiple cultural and institutional contexts.
Her work with dancers spans regular classes, masterclasses, workshops, intensives, lecture-demonstrations and longer-format residencies, with an emphasis on technique, repertory, performance development and artistic clarity.
REGULAR CLASSES
Kassiyet began teaching Bharatanatyam in 2011 at Ganesa Natyalaya in New Delhi, where she taught as part of the institution alongside her own training and performance practice. Since 2017, she has continued teaching independently through ongoing classes, workshops, intensives and residencies across different countries and learning environments.
Her ongoing teaching focuses on sustained technical development, repertory, musicality, performance practice and individual artistic growth.
WORKSHOPS
Since 2017, Kassiyet has conducted Bharatanatyam workshops internationally for dancers at different stages of training, from foundational study to advanced technique and repertory development. Her teaching combines technical clarity with an individualized approach to movement, interpretation and performance practice.

An exclusive two-day Bharatanatyam intensive for enrolled Kassiyet Arts students, combining concentrated technique and repertory training with performance exposure, shared meals and time together as an artistic community. The weekend is designed to deepen both the dancers’ practice and their experience of New York’s cultural life.

MASTERCLASSES
Through masterclasses and lecture-demonstrations, Kassiyet introduces Bharatanatyam to dancers and non-dancer audiences around the world, offering an accessible window into its movement, history, music and expressive language.
Kassiyet is available for select masterclasses, workshops, intensives, residencies and lecture-demonstrations internationally.
