Bye Bye 650 University of Pécs, Hungary In commemoration of the foundation of the first Hungarian university, the University of Pécs orchestrated a full-day event, welcoming members of the univeristy students, professors and citizens of the country to participate. The event's primary objective was to exhibit the multifaceted and innovative endeavors undertaken by the university's departments and affiliated institutions, while also affording attendees a firsthand glimpse into the vibrant atmosphere of academic life. The culmination of the University of Pécs' 650th anniversary celebrations featured a special closing event. As part of this grand finale, Kassiyet delivered a captivating Bharatanatyam performance, accompanied by a lecture-demonstration. This unique segment unfolded amidst the backdrop of an international dance night, which brought together university students, esteemed professors, and distinguished guests from across the globe. SUNIDHI GURUDUTT Sunidhi Gurudutt has been passionate about the performing arts since childhood. She began her Bharatanatyam training at the age of 13 under the guidance of Guru Vidushi Smt. Deepa Bhat at Nrithya Kuteera, Bengaluru, India. Sunidhi has successfully completed her Junior, Senior, and Vidwat examinations with distinction, and is a gold medalist of the Master’s Degree in Dance from Jain University, Bengaluru. She is a proud recipient of prestigious scholarships awarded by both the Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy and the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT). Sunidhi’s Arangetram, held on February 24th, 2019, received widespread acclaim from critics and audiences alike. Her solo performances include notable productions such as Kanasu, Nrithyadhare, Tribute to Indian Armed Forces, Udaya Raaga (presented by the Horticulture Department), Sattva Purandara, and Ankura Festival, among others. In addition to her Bharatanatyam practice, Sunidhi has trained in Nattuvangam under Vidwan Sri. Somashekhar Jois and studied Carnatic music for 11 years under Vidushi Smt. Shubhaprada. She has also been mentored in theatre by artists associated with Ninasam. Her Master’s thesis, titled ‘Adaptability of Kumaravyasa Bharata to Bharatanatyam’, was highly appreciated for its scholarly insight. Currently, Sunidhi is undergoing teacher training at KCDC under the mentorship of Kassiyet, demonstrating a strong commitment to both teaching excellence and performance artistry. She considers herself deeply honored to practice the exquisite art of Bharatanatyam and to be part of the revered Guru-Shishya Parampara.

OUR PHILOSOPHY KASSIYET CREATIVE DANCE CENTER Kassiyet upholds the Guru-Shishya tradition in which she was trained, while adapting it to provide exceptional professional dance education with a focus on multidisciplinary training. Since 2017, she has offered comprehensive training to intermediate and advanced-level Bharatanatyam dancers across the US, Canada, Europe, and India. Kassiyet’s training includes an extensive repertoire of beautifully choreographed, unique pieces designed to inspire excellence in the dance form. Her teaching encourages dancers to develop their own style and creativity, fostering adaptability and versatility to prepare them as well-rounded dance professionals. In addition to performance training, Kassiyet supports dancers in choreographing and presenting their own pieces, including guidance on creating music and other production aspects. She collaborates with some of the most experienced and in-demand musicians for composing music and touring, ensuring that her students are exposed to world-class artistry. Kassiyet also provides personalized career advisement, equipping students with the tools and insights needed to navigate the demands of a professional dance career successfully.
