THE QUEEN OF MY DREAMS
Actor Movement Training · Los Angeles · 2023
Kassiyet worked with actor Amrit Kaur on Bharatanatyam movement and dance preparation for The Queen of My Dreams, directed by Fawzia Mirza. Training sessions in Los Angeles focused on introducing the movement vocabulary and performance qualities needed for a Bharatanatyam sequence in the film.
BAY AREA ADAVU
Bay Area, California · 2021–2026
Co-founded with Sharanya Pranab as an informal space for Bharatanatyam dancers in the Bay Area to come together, practice adavus and build community through shared movement. In 2023, the initiative expanded into the first Adavu Social, bringing dancers together for practice, conversation and artistic exchange.

LEGENDS IN MOTION
Kassiyet curates and hosts programs featuring distinguished senior artists, creating opportunities for dancers to learn through direct artistic exchange. Through workshops, conversations and focused sessions, these programs bring generations together and create space for knowledge, experience and artistic perspective to be shared.
