
TRAINING POLICY
1. Fees & Payment
-
Tuition must be paid in full before the start of each term/ quarter.

All fees are non-transferable and non-refundable, except in the case of program cancellation by KCDC.
-
A 3% processing fee will be applied to all credit card payments.
-
Late payments may result in administrative fees or suspension from classes.
2. Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy
-
Enrollment in all levels of training requires a full-year commitment.
-
If a student withdraws within the academic year, a $250 cancellation fee will apply.

To officially withdraw, dancers must email kassiyet.arts@gmail.com. Notifying the instructor alone is notconsidered valid.
3. Attendance & Punctuality
-
Consistency is key to progress. Students may miss a maximum of 3 classes per quarter, with at least 48 hours’ notice via email or text.

Missing 2 classes in a quarter without notice may result in removal from the program.

Students should join classes 5 minutes before the start. To respect the flow of the class and ensure every dancer’s best experience, students arriving more than 15 minutes late will be asked to observe rather than participate.

In case of illness or injury, dancers may observe class and take notes.
4. Behavior & Conduct
-
Mobile phones and smartwatches must remain on silent during class.
5. Attire & Presentation
-
Dancers must wear a practice saree or fitted kurta-shalwar with a cotton dupatta tied around the waist.

Jeans, shorts, skirts, t-shirts, dresses, leggings, and loose clothing are not allowed.

Hair must be tied back in a bun, braid, or ponytail.
6. Missed Classes & Rescheduling
-
Tuition is not prorated for missed classes.
-
Make-up classes are allowed only when a similar-level class is available and with prior approval. They must be completed within the same month or term.

In the event of a canceled class by KCDC, a make-up session will be scheduled within 4–8 weeks.
7. Performance Participation
-
Performance opportunities are by invitation only and based on discipline, consistency, and readiness.

Additional rehearsals and full attendance are required for performances.
8. Exposure to Professional Dance
-
Students are expected to attend Indian classical dance performances and other dance events happening in their city or nearby cities as part of their dance education.
9. Private & Enrichment Sessions
-
Private classes are available by invitation only with Kassiyet or visiting guest artists.
10. Recording & Intellectual Property
-
No audio/video recording is allowed during class without prior permission.
-
KCDC and Kassiyet retain all intellectual property rights to choreography, music, and related materials.
-
Students may not share, duplicate, or post class content publicly.
-
KCDC reserves the right to record classes for archival, educational, and promotional purposes.
11. Special Considerations
-
All policies are in place to ensure high-quality training, safety, and respect for the art form.

By enrolling at KCDC, students acknowledge and agree to these terms.
